The built in screen means you can grind your leaf as bulky or fine as you prefer and it wont fall through the bowl while you inhale but before the flame hits it. Anytime I order one for a new piece, I order two incase my hubby wants to steal the new color and it's still cheaper than using a glass and having to replace it everything month or so. I think everyone needs one of these bowl pieces because its the perfect design to keep the bong water cleaner.
